PoP Prototype

TB

Since incubating in the last unit, I have narrowed my problem statement down to provide more specificity regarding my users and problem. Here is my revamped (and hopefully final!) problem statement:

Assistant teachers do not have time to focus on technology professional development because they do not have free time or planning periods during the day.

I now have a solid understanding of what my problem is and what my solution will look like. For my design solution prototype I drafted a Professional Development Plan that goes into the specifics of scheduling these workshops. I outlined a schedule that I think will address the issues my users face, as well as contingency plans in case they still can't attend (making materials available digitally and offering a weekly drop-in time).

Check out my prototype here.

I hadn’t considered making a Google Site for these resources before, but switching to e-learning last week gave me the idea. My next steps are to create the website, create more reference guides, and find online tutorials/resources where applicable.
